It is not a debut, but a fresh start nonetheless. After six years and three albums, Danish duo Puddu Varano last year chose to go their separate ways. But one half, Morten Varano, is keeping the music and at least half of the name going. "Step Up" is the first album by the new one man line-up. A delicious and loungy experience in sound, and an oasis of soul, downbeat, latin, afro and elegant pop.

It all begins almost by coincidence in 1997 when, Giovanni Campagna and Dennis Lee meet to have a chat. Being individually signed to the same label, they both know of each other works but never had the chance to meet in person. It doesnt take them long before the discovery of a common thread at the base of their ideas and to start laying down the foundations of what was to become Dynamoe.

VINCENT VAN GO GO
Vincent Van Go Go was formed in early 2001 in Aarhus,Denmark after an successful recording session, revealing an undeniable chemistry between the group's members. Shortly after, the group started recording and performing material written by lead singer Johs Nørrelykke, whose compositions still make up the musical foundation of the group.

JUNKYARD PRODUCTIONS
Junkyard Productions sound is a mix of crispy lo-fi dub, jazzy vocals and Jamaican style mcing. The band is based in Aarhus and Aalborg in the north of Denmark. They played their first gig in February 2002, and have been playing live on a regular basis since then. Meanwhile Junkyard Productions have been perfecting their style and songwriting in the studio. The main influence is olskool Jamaican dub as well as the modern dub sound from Berlin. In October 2004 the track Sister Let Him Go was recorded for the Radio Recordings II compilation album, and in February 2005 they played at the Radio Recordings II release party live on Danish national radio. Sister Let Him Go was released in October 2005 on Murena Records as a 12. The track had massive airplay on DR P3 (Danish national radio) and on French Radio Nova, and has already been licensed for various compilations. In the fall of 2005 Junkyard Productions joined the Varano Music Tour and played several major Danish venues.

F.U.K.T
Since 2002 the DrumnBass live act F.U.K.T have moved from a rather peripheral existence in the Danish electronic music scene to a top spot of the newcomers of today. They have gone far beyond the borders that traditionally ties up a scene like DrumnBass in Denmark, and their live performance is without a doubt unique, since they interpret the genre solely live this means no sequencers, no backtracks and no drum loops. A mission, that in it self is impressive since DrumnBass especially is characterised by high tempo and complex drum syncopated soundscapes.
