UPDATES on the Joe Strummer Tribute Show, happening on August 16, 2008 @ the WOW Hall here in wonderful Eugene, Oregon:
We're full on for the 16th of August down at the WOW Hall! Come see The Underlings, Casey Neill, and ZZ Clash....they will be playing tunes from the 101ers, Clash and Mescaleros! We'll be raising money for Skaters for Eugene Skateparks and Strummerville. Raffles will also be part of the action, with a lovely Strummer replica Telecaster up for grabs for a buck a shot.....so come on down. Let's celebrate Joe Strummer and raise a few bucks!
Please remember, this is a benefit gig for Skaters for Eugene Skateparks and the Strummerville Foundation For New Music. It's purely a DIY venture and nobody gets paid. Its by the people and for the people!
And....I want to THANK the owners of Tactics Boardshop for making this possible. They are kindly footing the bill to rent the hall for our evening of tribute to Joe Strummer!
