About Me

Founded in 1982 this band has been the first to play with a new spirit the traditional music of Friuli, a region where different ethnic minorities live together from many centuries. This is the top folk band in Friuli and one of the best ones in Italy. You’ll listen to ancient instruments, bagpipes and fiddles will dance together with percussion, diatonic accordion, guitar and bass: a sound of great impact, open towards the contemporary musics. During their very long career these musicians has had tours in many countries and did radio and television shows in Europe and in America. La Sedon salvadie is today the most famous friulian folk music group in the world, and can boast more then twentyfive years of concerts all around the world, several recordings, remarkable partecipations to the most important international events, soundtracks and international telecasts and collaborations with artist as The Chieftains, Fabrizio De André, Angelo Branduardi, Massimo Bubola Carlos Nunez, Ed Schnabl, Vincenzo Zitello, Janos Hasur, Paul Bradley and many others. www.myspaceeditor.it
