Dean Kraig Emson. 25 year-old spare-time songwriter from South Wales. All Demo's heard on this page are written by myself. After waiting to start a band for the last 7 years it never happened so decided go solo (new years resolution 2008!) Musically, I try not to complicate things: Simple riffs and melodic vocals. Tend to spend more time writing the lyrics. I like songs that create a mood or tell a story or express some sort of political opinion etc... They don't have to be clever - they just have to be about something worthwhile. Wrote my first song at 18 and have been trying to write ever since. There's something about writing a song that I'm addicted to and I can't explain why... I'll get my rhyming dictionary and thesaurous out. Go on the net to research the subject - its quite obsessive really but I can't and wont change! Ambitions? Hey, not gonna lie - I'd love my music to pay the bills! More Realistic Goal - to eventually form a band to record and perform my songs properly as I imagine them in my head (and to sing 'em without having to play the fucking guitar!)...watch this space!
