Lead singer Juan Peduto, (raised in Canada), with his deep, clear, strong voice sings along to the accompaniment of four background vocals and instruments such as the steel guitar, dobro, guitar, bass and drums.Though all of the band members are from Switzerland, they are well known and warmly received all over Europe, playing frequently in France, Austria, Germany and of course Switzerland. Their last album entitled “Right On The Nose” won the Austrian Music Federation’s “International Album of the Year.” This earned them international acclaim and recognition all over Europe.With over 50 live concerts performed annually, and nominations for “Band of the Year” and “Newcomer of the Year” in both Switzerland and Austria, the Honky Tonk Pickers are on their way to becoming one of the most successful country bands in Europe.
