My passion is God first and foremost, reading, walks on the beach where I can listen to the voice of God speaking to me through His waves and watching the birds soar above. And then there is always the wrestling and tickling matches that I can get into with my son, when we take a break during our homeschooling day, now that's a good time! :-) Roller blading, playing basketball, football, painting; usually angels, four-wheeling and singing of course which has been my life long passion, fit in there quite well too! Oh and I love to laugh, if you can make me laugh, look out...LOL

Hello there friend, it's very nice to meet you! I'm Linda and here is a little bit about myself in case you wanted to know and even if you don't! LOL I grew up in a very confusing and somewhat chaotic house, OK more chaotic than usual I have some Italian in me! HAHAHA And in order to escape the hollering and flying items from time to time, I did what most kids do when the hollering begins! I sought refuge in my room in the world of music! I didn't have an Xbox or PlayStation at that time otherwise maybe I would have been able to blow things up too or play a wicked game of Guitar Hero!
Actually I do come from a musically gifted family, most sang or played an instrument without any lessons, so loving music came quite naturally to me and I've sang since I was knee high to a grasshopper! There was one problem though, I seemed to have suffered from severe stage fright and although my mouth would open nothing would come out, I think it's because I wasn't breathing which is very important part of singing, you need air to get those sounds out! DUH But now...for some unknown reason that still totally baffles this blonde mind of mine, I was asked to lead the youth praise and worship at our church and was given a microphone! WHAT were they thinking? I thought they were nuts and I didn't know that anyone could possibly be nuttier than mwa! HAHAHA The scary part is...I said yes! What WAS I Thinking? But I took the bull by the horns and now I am finally living out that long lost dream of mine and singing in front of people! OK so they're kids, ya got to start somewhere, give me a flipping break will ya! I'm a late bloomer but I'm finally blooming! :)
When seeking shelter in my room from all of those gosh awful sounds that echoed throughout the house, if I wasn't singing, then I was reading! I believe that must be where I turned into the hopeless and helpless forever romantic that I am, from reading all of those darn love stories! I now concentrate on non-fiction for obvious reasons! HAHAHA
Seriously though, my passion is God first, in case you couldn't tell...and music, music, music and yes as much as I don't want to admit it, I am the forever romantic one but God is the Author of Romance! So if you come from or came from a chaotic household where loud noises echoed throughout or there were strange flying objects from time to time and if you love music (like who doesn't?), who likes to cut up and laugh because you are quirky and you look at life with humor now because if you don't you'll loose your flipping mind! (OK yeah I know, I've lost mine but shh don't tell anyone!) ...then please hang out awhile, I'm sure we can become good buddies and share a song or two and perhaps even a laugh! :)
And incidentally this late bloomer would like to encourage you to keep after that dream even if you have stage fright and puke before a performance (just make sure you have water with you and perhaps a towel) because I do so look forward to meeting you after seeing you play or hearing you sing from your heart! No matter what dreams you have go after them and keep the faith! If I can do it then so can you! Be Blessed! :)

Do ya have a while? Music has been so much a part of my life ever since I was a wee little girl, where I would lock myself in my room and sing for hours, as a matter of fact, I still do...I fiddle with my guitar, keyboard and you can NOW add the drums too! :) I like most kinds of music and the lyrics can speak to my heart in profound ways and I'm taken to a whole other place where nobody else is there but me...and a few other kindred spirits! :D

A good movie could catch my eye, especially if Nicholas Cage, George Clooney, Tom Hanks or Will Smith are in it, just as long as it's not a funky one. And of course, there would be those love stories for I'm the forever romantic one, just in case you couldn't tell! HAHA

Television:
Not much into TV, don't really have the time, but occasionally a good movie every now and the then and perhaps Dirty Jobs, A good humorous debate, and Grey's Anatomy but haven't seen that one in a long while, I probably could watch an episode now and still be up to date, if I wasn't always playing on Myspace! LOL
Books:
I have an extensive library which I can pick and choose from, my favorite would be the Bible of course and then non-fiction books for which I am able to challenge and expand my mind. :-)Being the forever romantic one that I am, I of course have my many books on the subject of love and romance! LOL
