Ciao a tutti, siamo gli "HUSH" band romana che propone un tributo ai Deep Purple. La nostra è una band nata per 'passione', come si conviene a tutti i gruppi che suonano 'soltanto' per il gusto di farlo.
I Deep Purple hanno rappresentato e rappresentano un punto fermo nei nostri gusti musicali e gli "HUSH" vogliono essere anche un ringraziamento ed un omaggio a questo straordinario gruppo e a tutti i musicisti che in 40 anni ne hanno fatto parte.
Non a caso nei nostri concerti ci piace presentare brani delle varie Line-up dei Deep Purple spaziando dalla Mark I° fino alla formazione attuale.
La fedeltà nella scelta delle scalette musicali e nell'esecuzione dei brani è quello che curiamo maggiormente; questo per non deludere coloro che vogliono sentire da "MADE IN JAPAN" targato 1972 alle peripezie del "BATTLE RAGES ON - TOUR" datato 1993 fino alle ultime fatiche dell'era Steve Morse.
UN MINIMO DI STORIA DELLA BAND:
Gli Hush si formano nel 1998 grazie a Danilo Antonini e Marco Palazzi con l’intenzione di riproporre dal vivo i brani del loro gruppo preferito. L’anno successivo entrò nel gruppo Andrea Strappetti (definito la mejo “canna†de Roma). Già dai primi concerti il successo fu notevole e le esibizioni al “Radio Londra†“Geronimo’s†“Jailbreak†“Totem Village†ecc. testimoniano l’eccellente riscontro ottenuto. Nel 2004-2005 a causa di alcuni cambi di musicisti l’attività live è stata ridotta ma nel 2006 la formazione è tornata ad essere stabile con l’ingresso di Marco Armari alla batteria, Sergio Nomirelli al basso ed il ritorno di Andrea Strappetti alla voce.
Il 2007 è stato molto positivo grazie alla partecipazione alla “Purple Night†del Black Horse di Cermenate (Como) oltre ai concerti della Locanda Blues di Roma e del Dissesto Musicale di Tivoli.
E vedremo cosa riserverà il 2008……
Hello everybody, we are “HUSH†, we come from Rome and we’re a Deep Purple Tribute Band. The band has been formed for our love for DP music and we play out of musical passion.
Deep Purple were and continue to represent the point of reference for our music and “HUSH†would like to take the opportunity to thank this extraordinary band and its members who for forty years have taken part in it.
It’s no surprise that we play various Deep Purple line-up hits at our concerts from Mark I° to the current line-up.
We take great care in our choice of songs and in their execution as not to delude those fans who want to hear since the 1972 “Made in Japan†sound to the 1993 “Battle Rages On†Tour and more recent Steve Morse hits.
A LITTLE HISTORY ABOUT OUR BAND:
The HUSH was formed in 1998 thanks to the efforts of Danilo Antonini (guitar) and Marco Palazzi (keyboards) whose primary intention was to reproduce in live performances the rock sound and hits of their favourite band.
The following year Andrea Strappetti (better known on the Rome musical scene as La mejo “canna†de Roma – the best “screamer†of Rome), joined the band.
From the onset, the HUSH band was remarkable; our various performances at “Radio Londraâ€, “Geronimo’s†,“Jailbreakâ€, “Totem Village†ecc. were an acknowledgment of our success. Due to changes in our band members in years 2004-2005, our live shows were just a few but since 2006, the line-up has been permanent with the entry of Marco Armari (drums) Sergio Nomirelli (bass guitar) and the return of Andrea Strappetti (vocals).
The 2007 has been an extremely positive year for the band thanks to our performance at the “Purple Night†at the Black Horse of Cermenate (Como, Italy) in addition to our shows at the Locanda Blues in Rome and the Dissesto Musicale in Tivoli, (Rome).
We shall see what 2008 shall whisper to the HUSH……
