Eric N. Peterson

My name is Eric Peterson, I'm 43 years old and I'm an instructor and performer of Middle Eastern percussion. I'm married and I love my wife. I'm here to network with musicians and dancers of Middle Eastern music and dance. Web-site: http://www.geocities.com/ericnpeters I live in Somerville Massachusetts and I'm involved in a handful of musical proects, adding Arabic, Turkish, Greek and Armenian rhythms to all kinds of music. You can find me performing with the Breton band Trouz Bras: www.trouzbras.com I'm also playing percussion in a trio Aljashu, performing Sephardic Ladino music. In addition to these groups you can find me in performances with Synesthesia: A unique mix of Classical Cello, Jazz Saxophone, fused with Moroccan grooves and Modern American poetry. I also keep active playing the Armenian and Turkish music I love so much, with various musicians I know in my community. I'm also starting to get involved in Flamenco.
