Born in Providence Rhode Island. I grew up enjoying the music, food and beaches in Rhode Island.
My father was a world war two veteran that served in the navy. He became an English and History teacher in the public school system. My mother worked for the banks downtown and on college hill on the Brown University campus.
In seventies I discovered music. At five years old my father gave me my first guitar lesson. Music was a big part of how my family spent time together. Started taking guitar lessons at eight, because my guitar teacher wouldn't take me any younger. My guitar teacher was a jazz player who played with some big names and I regret that I did not learn as much as I could have from him. Started Playing professionally as a teenager and worked as a musician through college.
I decided to go to business school, instead of going to music school and becoming a music teacher like some of my friends. I wanted to apply myself in the area of entrepreneurial business.
Going through school I had friends that went to Johnson and Wales. Johnson and Wales was a culinary arts school (all these schools have now become universities.)
This school produced chefs like Emeril Lagasse. (He was offered a music scholarship but decided become a chef and everyone knows the rest of that story)
My Business and Music have given me the opportunity to meet some extraordinary people and have given me some extraordinary experiences. Right now I am enjoying my music, food and business experiences in Tampa Bay, Florida.
