About Me

Singer-Songwriter/Dancer/Yogini/Music Appreciater/Grateful Soul/Free Spirit

I've been singing my entire life. It's always been a release for me and a beautiful form of expression. I grew up in Little Rock, Ar, singing along to Anita, Chaka, Teena, and Prince. I played violin for six years, later taking up dance. After attending Tennessee State University in Nashville for a couple of years, I decided to pack up my car and move to L.A. My last year in school was spent more in the studio than in class. My passion for the art of music has always been vast and intense. I spent years moving from L.A. to Miami to Atlanta and back again, singing, writing, and recording. Currently, I am singing with a nine-pice funk band as well as working on my own project.

On the flip side, I love to research all kinds of subjects from Buddhism, to African & Native American spirituality, to yoga, to metaphysics, to health and nutrition, to pop culture, to the paranormal and supernatural. I believe strongly in love, the art of it, the science of it, the vastness of it. I believe in compassion. I keep an open mind, an open heart, and open ears... Myspace Layouts
