Uxfest is a charity rock festival, born in 1997 in Uxbridge, and rocking now yearly in central London.
UXFEST will CELEBRATE it's 10th ANNIVERSARY this year, 2007.
UXFEST will take place on (TBC) the FIRST weekend in SEPTEMBER 2007.

My Interests

www.uxfest.org The first Uxfest took place in 1997 following in the Fountains Mill tradition of yearly festivals supported by the Council and run by the Youth Club.The central idea was to have a scheme run For young people, by young people. Organised and run by a team of Fountains Mill members together with youth workers, the Mill manager and a small council budget, these previous Festivals provided work experience, opportunities and entertainment for everyone, and were always a good laugh, Uxfest followed with the same idea.From 1998-2004 onwards Uxfest has featured bands such as Lostprophets, Sikth, Medulla Nocte, Onedice, PDHM, JOR, Hiding with Girls, thisGirl, Ako, Johnny Truant, Electric Eel Shock, Aconite Thrill, Knuckledust, Number One Son, Twoday Rule, Labrat, Miocene, Capdown, Anal Beard. Called the UK Underground event of the year in Kerrang! Uxfest Rocks.This year Uxfest will take place on Sunday 5th August at the Islington Carling academy. Uxfest is a NON PROFIT festival, all money raised will go to charity. Watch this space for more information.
