MyGen Profile Generator Formed in 2005, Trucida are a four piece metal band from London. Having released their first EP Led to the Slaughter in early 2006, Trucida have recently completed their follow up entitled Trials And Tribulations (2007) to rapturous reviews. Blending old skool thrash with modern melodic metal, Trucida have produced a unique sound that has no interest in following current trends in UK metal. An album is now planned for release winter 2008.
Since forming, Trucida have shared the stage with many a band, namely: Anterior (Metal Blade), Tackleberry (GER), Deadweight, Kyrbgrinder, Trenchhead and Smokescreen.....

'Really rather good thrashy black metal from ... Enfield. Hardly Oslo, but these four Londoners have nailed a great raw necro sound with some great buzzsaw riffs, ride bell, deft and haunting solos, and the odd deathly growl lobbed in for good measure. Not to mention some nice Maiden-alike split harmonies. Daring and innovative.'
