About Me

"Life's like a movie, write your own ending..."
---K. Frog---
.. This whole masturbatory myspace thing is painfully time consuming. Just read who I want to meet. That gives you a pretty good idea... Read it all. I dare you...
I may not be the walrus but I just might be the Egg Man... (huh?) kookookachoo...
"It's all just a ride..."
---Bill Hicks---
The Bill Hicks Principles of Comedy
1. If you can be yourself on stage nobody else can be you and you have the law of supply and demand covered.
2. The act is something you fall back on if you can't think of anything else to say.
3. Only do what you think is funny, never just what you think they will like, even though it's not that funny to you.
4. Never ask them is this funny - you tell them this is funny.
5. You are not married to any of this shit - if something happens, taking you off on a tangent, NEVER go back and finish a bit, just move on.
6. NEVER ask the audience "How You Doing?". People who do that can't think of an opening line. They came to see you to tell them how they're doing, asking that stupid question up front just digs a whole. This is The Most Common Mistake made by performers. I want to leave as soon as they say that.
7. Write what entertains you. If you can't be funny, be interesting. You haven't lost the crowd. Have something to say and then do it in a funny way.
8. I close my eyes and walk out there and that's where I start, Honest.
9. Listen to what you are saying, ask yourself, "Why am I saying it and is it Necessary?" (This will filter all your material and cut the unnecessary words, economy of words)
10. Play to the top of the intelligence of the room. There aren't any bad crowds, just wrong choices.
11. Remember this is the hardest thing there is to do. If you can do this you can do anything.
12. I love my cracker roots. Get to know your family, be friends with them.
If you didn't learn anything from Bill Hicks, I assure you Mr. T has a lot to offer:
..

My Interests

Attempting to wrap my brain around the idiocy that is our human society. (And failing...)
The Red Sox (Et tu Johnny?). Texas Hold 'Em. Charles in Charge. Bob Loblaw.And...THE man who spoke my language... describes my pain... And Believe me, it's not just marriage...No, no: longterm relationships can be equally demonic and soul-swiping...

I'd like to meet:

-George Bush and/or his entire corrupt sociopathic administration (preferably tied to a chair-in a humane way of course- and forced to listen...) Just so SOMEBODY will ask some fucking pertinent questions or at least get their outright refusal to acknowledge the truth and the present real world in general DOCUMENTED ON CAMERA
-Bono; Roger Waters;
-Bill Hicks (if he were still here... and Jim Henson, John Lennon, Bob Marley & Lenny Bruce for that matter...)
-back to Bills: Bill Gates; Bill Maher; Bill Clinton;
-Richard Belzer; Oliver Stone; Noam Chomsky;
-Chuck D;
-Bob Newhart;
-George Lucas;
-Paul Reubens; Tim Burton;
-Chris Rock; Lewis Black; Roseanne;
-Sean Penn; Tim Robbins; Warren Beatty;
-Godfrey Reggio; Michel Gondry; Terrence Malick;
-Eminem;
-Joe Montana;
-Nomar Garciaparra aka "fiddlefaddle";
-the fucked up asshole who assaulted me who's still running the streets, terrorizing, and not in jail(just to ask him why and understand that he's human... give me some closure...);
-I'd love to see my mom again someday... maybe with Gandhi and Martin Luther King over lunch? That'd be cool.
-Any or all of the officials (or civilians) forced into secrecy after 9/11

-Somebody who believes in (and possibly has power and drive to put into place) a new "defense" system that is just that: Defense. Not Offense. And how about the notion of the US completely disarming its ridiculous load of nuclear weapons instead of bossing around the rest of the world wondering why they feel the need to "defend" themselves too...

Are you out there? Anyone? Just browsing myspace in your free time?

We need a new system of government that actually comprehends & believes in Democracy. And can DEFINE Freedom! Correctly. And how about trusting human communication?

All these poor people are sent off to risk their lives... Fighting for what? I wouldn't do it for a million $$... I WOULD risk my life to be part of some mission to abolish all the violent bullshit and make a REAL attempt at human communication.
Maybe the world can take care of itself... If you just take the fucking killing machines out of the picture... I am not afraid to die if that's what would kill me. I think it would be much more noble and "productive" (if dying can ever be productive...) if people were dying because they became Active participants in teaching peace to the world instead of teaching violence (and supplying all the weapons to keep it up...). And how about feeding and clothing the poor instead, fuckers?!

And I'm not looking to meet any airy fairy peace and love hippies who think a round of kumbaya will do the trick... No offense, of course... But I'm talking real problem solving. Diving in to the hornet's nests of the world and trying to find out what everybody is REALLY after. We're not all fighting over land anymore, it's a whole new world so let's be fucking realistic.

There's no such thing as the boogey man. If you believe he exists, it's only because you see a little bit of him when you look in the mirror.

That's who I want to meet goddamnit. Step it on up! And no weirdo desperate idiots looking for love. I know you're smitten... Gimme a fucking break.

How to win friends and influence people... Right? So much anger... what to do with it?
