In the streets of Harlem, everyone is just trying to have a little fun, groove a little bit here, groove a little bit there...But now Sho'Nuff, the self proclaimed Shogun of Harlem wants to have total control, and with his amazing martial arts skills, who's going to stop him? The police? Yeah right, there's only one guy who stands between Sho and total supremacy, and that's Leroy Green the man who can catch bullets with his teeth... who is known by his fans as Bruce Leroy.
Now Leroy, well, he's on a mission himself. You see, he just completed his martial arts training and is now in search for THE MASTER who will take him to the final level where he will receive the GOLDEN GLOW.
Out one night, by himself of course, Leroy becomes entranced by the likes of LAURA CAHRLES, the woman who's on all of the minds of the guys of Harlem. Now, it seems as if she is the only woman in the world who has gotten into the very disciplined mind of Leroy.
If your video is shown in her night club, 7TH HEAVEN, you're on your way to the top. One man, EDDIE ARCADIAN, king of trashy videos, knows this all too well. In his efforts to advance his star ANGIE, he kidnapps Laura to get her to put their videos on.
Leroy foils the first two kidnapping attempts, but Eddie soon finds out about Sho'Nuff and how Leroy won't fight him, so they join forces to lead Leroy to fight Sho'Nuff in an abandoned warehouse.Leroy takes huge punishment when Sho'Nuff reveals that he has THE GLOW. Leroy, told that the true Master could only have the glow is terrified. But undaunted, he still tries to fight. To his horror, even when he blocks a move he experiences tremendous pain due to the glow of Sho. Sho'Nuff just starts putting Leroy away...left and right. Realizing his chance to win it all, Sho'Nuff demands Leroy to answer his question, "Who is the Master!?" After repeated abuse and near drowning, at the hands of Sho'Nuff, Leroy finally listens to his old master, Laura, and to himself.
He realilizes who is the one and only master...
And he finds what he'd been looking for for so long, The GOLDEN GLOW.
