Prepare for Ragnarök!!!

About Me

I lead a busy life. I did four years in the U.S. Marine Corps as an air delivery specialist, did several months over in Iraq during 2003 for OIF, and got out as an E-4/Corporal. I'm now in the U.S. Army Reserves as a E-4/Specialist, which is pretty fun so far. I'm also in the police academy, which basically takes up almost all my time during the week.
What little time I do have for myself outside of studying or the academy I devote to my amateur strongman pursuits (lightweight in the North American Strongman Society) and train in Kyokushin Karate (a full-contact style). I lift heavy stuff for fun, wear kilts, and am awesome at cuddling and making out.
I am pretty much an Alpha male, far from a pretty boy. I have tattoos, scars, and it only takes me about 10 minutes to get ready in the morning. I love action movies, occasionally drink beer with my friends, like to get dirty and try to fix things, and can open my own pickle jars. I treat women with respect because that's what they deserve. Despite all the physical things I do, I'm far from being your typical jock meathead: I've made the Dean's List twice already, am a voracious reader of any and all things, and can talk to you about virtually anything. Hardened steel with sex appeal. Yep, that's me.

My Interests

Among many things: strongman, Kyokushin Karate, Olympic weightlifting, swimming, grip strength, reading, philosophy of all kinds, Japanese culture, origami, budo, martial arts, shooting pool, concerts, tattoos, learning Spanish, trying to be a cop, women in skirts, women taking off their skirts, military history, teaching myself to play the piano, and just about anything that's pretty interesting.

I'd like to meet:

Anybody, as long as they don't bore the heck out of me. Chances are, if I add you, you're probably a good candidate to talk to.

As far as women go, looking primarily for friends first then we'll see where it goes from there. Intelligent, funny, outgoing, and athletic is the ideal for me I guess you could say....

2nd place in the under-175 class at the Xenia Old Fashioned Strength Challenge

This is my official write-up I guess.  Despite injuring myself right off the bat in the first event and a subpar performance, I still managed to get 2nd place in the under-175 division.  For...

A funny thing happened at Arby's today....

So I was going in for my cheat meal from Arby's that I get every time I cash a check (I'm a fiend for their grilled chicken and curly fries) when I see a buddy of mine there buying food too.  We ...

The real meaning behind Friday the 13th (a week late!)

I meant to put this up a week ago, but I was so busy doing a lot of other things I didn't have the time. The reason why Friday the 13th is so bad is tied to Christian history and their military orders...
