SamHaiNe presents: O-Ren Ishi. A mix of ethics, a soup of sorrow, a slaughterhouse of life. This is the musical projection of SamHaiNe a known Spoken word artist in the NYC underground. The sound of O-Ren Ishi is an experience of living in days of spooky languages and working class riots during a time of Noir/Horror Fiction.
Experimental music with dark true life, Horror inspired wordplay and storytelling. This is the human problem.
The first recording by O-Ren Ishi was Fashion of the Flesh, it was released on the Zone 7 Entertainment compilation e.p. It received alot of positive remarks and feedback domestically and abroad. The Zone 7 Entertainment Compilation e.p. is still available for sale at http://cdbaby.com/cd/zone7ent
Right now there is no permanent line-up. Just me acting as bartender with a revolving door of characters setting a midnight mood.
