Samhain, (pronounced SOW-in, SAH-vin, or SAM-hayne)
means "End of Summer", and is the third and final Harvest. The dark winter half of the year commences on this Sabbat.
This season was the beginning of the New Year (and winter) in many rural areas of Europe. The actual time of transition, from sundown on Samhain to sundown the following day, was a "thin place" in the Celtic world, a place between-the-worlds where deep insights could pass more easily to those who were open to them. In addition to inspiration, through the portals could also pass beings of wisdom, fun, and play (and some of these played rough, requiring common sense and real caution on the part of mortals).

Born and raised in Harlem but my heart is in the Lower East Side,
Iam SamHaiNe I've been writing and performing my poetry since the mid 90's. I have performed at such venues as
ABC NO RIO, SUNY Purchase, Urban Juke Joint, Teabag @The Five Points, Joe's Pub, Gathering of the Tribes,& Stinger Club. Iam probably mostly reconized from my appearances and runs with the : MINDSPRAY OPEN MIC . I love Hardcore/Punk most of all. But I tend to mix alot of other influences to create visceral experiences that incorporate Rage,Madness,Dissapointment,and Grief.
I released an Electro-House single on an indie label under my current band.
Iam part of the Fastsnatch S.O.B.Crew.
And yes, Iam a Skinhead but Iam not a racist. Being a skin is not about racism and is more than just a haircut. So go educate yourselves.
