About Me

Coyote Slim is a man that has worked as a fishmonger and a biological science technician. As a local San Jose-based bluesman that plays mainly in an older style (i.e. not in an electrified West Coast or Chicago style band), he gigs mainly at farmer's markets, where he can get paid, or can be sometimes seen in the more musically open-minded underground bar scene of downtown San Jose.Slim has taught the occasional guitar lesson and has worked with several field-based science programs teaching out-door science to elementary school students.Slim has two self-produced CDs available, "I Ain't Gonna Do Right Again" and "In My Own Time." They are available via his website www.coyoteslim.com or interested parties can send him an e-mail and he will tell them where to send a check, money order, cash, or bottle of wine in payment. For anyone interested in booking Slim, please e-mail him: [email protected]
