Music, music, music - and more music... stimulating "brain-work", like difficult cross-words;....would like to learn how to be a photographer...since I "see" pictures everywhere I go...
Blues,Jazz,Soul,Rock; and a beautiful guitar ;) - and much more.....Please, check my photo-album with some of my all-time blues favorites!!!
"Sense and sensibility", "Brokeback Mountain" by Ang Lee and all his productions. Any film by Ingmar Bergman like, "Jungfrukällan(my first!)Persona; Ansikte mot Ansikte; Smultronstället(wich I Love!) and many, many more.. Another great director is Alejandro Amenabar; I love "The Others" and "The Sea Inside". I do hope to see more from this very good director!! I also love all productions that I've seen by the Cohen brothers - their imagination is fantastic!
Very little, actually.. as a matter of fact...almost nothing at all - I sometimes see the news!
Authors: Please observe - this is no "ranking" list - simply a list; Erich Maria Remarque; William Somerset Maugham; Joseph Conrad; Viktor Rydberg; Graham Greene; Pär Rådström; Thomas Mann; Edgar Allan Poe; John Irving; I B Singer; Lawrence Durrell; Joseph Heller; Halldór Laxness; Ivar Lo-Johansson; Guy de Maupassant; Peder Sjögren; Doris Lessing; Väinö Linna; Mark Twain; Upton Sinclair; Vicki Baum; Alexandre Dumas, fils; Honoré de Balzac; Leo Tolstoij; Dan Brown; Maeve Binchy; Hans Peterson; Lisa Marklund; Åke Edwardson; John Grisham; Saul Bellow; Evelyn Anthony; Henning Mankell; Marcus Birro,Paolo Coelho; Carlos Ruiz Zafón; Orhan Pamuk...and many, many more: They have all had a great impact on who I am today, following throughout my younger years up until today - and I still, frequently, return to these authors today - especially when I can't find anything that I'd like to read! It's a lot about the language, for me personally - the way they express themselves,; their way of "building" beautiful sentences and using the very best of the language at hand! -
I don't have any heroes..except my mother..she was an angel!
