'We have seen remarkable things today'

About Me

Hello. Welcome to our page. If you have any of the following items in your possession, then we think you might be here to stay.........A faded librarycard... A digital camera you hardly use anymore (- when you got it, you promised yourself you'd use it all the time)... A poster of a favourite album or film that's ripped and ragged but you can't bear to take down... An overdraft that's dangerously near the limit... An addiction to tea (especially at around 3pm)... An unfinished short story, novel, or script... A pile of loose change on a windowsil... A cd/book/dvd/video collection that you stare at occasionally (the way a new mother just stops and stares in hopeless awe at her child when it is sleeping)... Pyjamas... Poems you're afraid to show anyone... Mild to Strong Insomnia... Some boxes full of reminders of EVERYTHING you've ever done (school work, letters, bad poems, cinema tickets etc)... A strange love of going round other people's houses.......... ...If you don't have any of these things, we think you might be lying. But I'm pretty sure you do have these things. Otherwise you wouldn't have read this far.We are Rupert and Ryan. We've been playing together for about six months (with lengthy holidays inbetween). We're an ugly version of the White Stripes (Rupert could never compete with Meg, despite what he says). We are looking for extra members. We want a situation where the band is so big we have to travel everywhere by minibus. We've got a collection of songs we're growing fond of. We hope you will like them, too. We will be uploading six new demos throughout the coming months (hopefully in June/July 08), but if you're impatient, or have nothing better on, come and see us live.

The Penguin Book of Lesbian Short Stories

The Philosophers Stone

We meet again!  The snow salvaged winter from the jaws of defeat. Everywhere looked very picturesque (except the high streets, which were slushy and grey). Now it is melting or being worn ...
