The USC Sirens were formed in October of 1997 by Brock Harris. Connie Chung (President 1997-1998) is credited with naming the Sirens. In Greek and Roman mythology, mythical creatures called Sirens used their voices to lure sailors to their deaths.

We have recorded five albums since our beginning: Voicebox (1997-98), Surreal (1999), Nectar and Ambrosia (2001-2002), Tied to the Mast (2003) and Big Ugly Birds (2004-05). We have toured in Boston, Hawaii, New York, California and Pennsylvania.

The Sirens have been hired for many random and entertaining venues, including the Popovich Dedication Ceremony, President Sample's private Homecoming party, singing the national anthem at an L.A. Kings and the USC hockey games, etc.

We are proud to have tracks on every Best Of College A cappella CD from 2000 to 2006 straight, as well as great Recorded A cappella Review Board reviews written about Surreal, Nectar and Ambrosia, and Tied to the Mast. We are also very proud of our numerous CARA awards- check out the music page of our website for all the award details.

Most of all, we are proud to have created such a cohesive and industrious group in the Sirens. We are so proud of where we've been and where we're going, and we can't wait to see what the years ahead will bring to the USC Sirens.
