Hello, hi!I live in London, although I'm originally from Halifax, West Yorkshire in the north of England. I have a sister and a brother , and parents who all still live in the north.I have a degree in media, because I always wanted to be a film director since I was a kid. After less than a year working for an audio post producion house in Soho, I changed my mind! No money, long hours... and music was taking over my life...Whilst I was at uni I got more into DJing. I've promoted nights at various venues in London, to varying degrees of success. The last was Makoomba at AKA/The End which ran for nearly a year from 2004-2005. I currently work for two of the best house labels on the planet, Reverberations and Wrong Recordings , managing the digital sides of the labels.Three years ago I started to practise a form of qigong meditation called Falun Gong which basically changed my life. I gave up drinking and smoking and I'm now a paradigm of health! ;-) The principles of this practice are deep and go ever-deeper. Practitioners of Falun Gong try to hold themselves to the values of Truthfulness, Benevolence and Tolerence in everything they do.This is why I feel so strongly about the terrible persecution of Falun Gong that has been happening in China since 1999 and is still going on today. How can such good people be tortured and killed when they just want to live healthy and positive lives?As a result, much of my life is devoted to exposing the persecution of Falun Gong. There are still many many people who don't know about what's really happening in China, including the Chinese.
