We are gearing up for the 2005 Loveparade in San Francisco on
Saturday September 24th. This years parade will start at Market &
2nd Street and head west on Market Street to the festival location at
Civic Center. The parade is schedule to start at 1pm and parade
to the festival location where the floats will park and all the
participants can enjoy the multiple genres of music that will be
played. We are asking for a $5 donation upon entering the
festival location, this will go to supporting our community partners
and other national non-profit organizations.Please join our newletter and be the first to know! This is not your ordinary parade. Instead of standing on the sidelines watching it go by, everyone is encouraged to dance in the streets with the floats as the parade moves by.General information on San FranciscoSeptember is one of our warmest months - San Francisco's summer is in
the fall. But the weather can be unpredictable so it's good to bring
layers and warm clothing. It should be warm during the day and then
will cool off in the evening.
Bring sunscreen and drink lots of water. RECYCLE ..RECYCLE ..RECYCLE!!
We urge you to keep our beautiful city CLEAN and help keep our
landfills as clear as possible. Many trash cans have recycling cages
(for plastics, aluminum, and glass). Be sure to find these cans and use
them!And Don't Forget...
Alcohol is for sale to those 21 or over
with proper ID only. Alcohol distributed to minors will be confiscated
and will be grounds for eviction from the post-parade festival site.
Unauthorized vending is not permitted. Protect your valuables.
Loveparade SF is not responsible for lost or stolen items. No nitrous
tanks, fires, fireworks, open flame BBQs, or weapons. Have fun! Be
safe, responsible and respectful. We strive for the continued success
