my name is Denise, i grew up in so cal, and now live in the bay area. I've recently gotten married to a wonderful man that i'd never give up for the world. Leon is my rock and i would not consider imagining my life without him now that i know how great it is with him as my one and only. Marriage is a beautiful thing, it can be a rollercoaster, a random valentines day, a heartbreak, a shoulder to cry on, someone to love at the drop of a hat, the mirror image of yourself, the complete opposite of your way of thinking, the perfect fit, the best feeling in the world, the most amazing connection ever felt, the comforts of home, the sweet bliss, the sex, the understanding, the soulmate you'll never let go of....but most of all, a picture perfect image of the rest of your life. it seems that now i have all that. wrapped up in this thing called marriage. who would have ever thought that i would have met my californian counterpart in wyoming. Him a student at the rivaling school. Me the not so ordinary student that loves everything about what the "other school" does. Basically, i don't fit the mold of the stereotypical University of Wyoming student, the one that has an elite state of mind, a wyotech hating state of mind. I, the rebel, art education student from a hotrod family found out about the wonders of "techers" in the first weeks of living in boring ole laramie, wyoming. I was told to stay away from these "techer boys" because they're trouble, they're not like good girls like you... they'll try to take advantage of you and use you. They'll make you fall in love with them and then graduate and move back home. well, only one of those things about "techer boys" was true. One did make me fall in love with him (and in turn, fall in love with me too), then graduate and move back home to california. But what they didn't tell me is that it would be so great, and so intense, and most of all so real, that no matter how far apart we were, we didn't forget one another, and would eventually come back to each other to live our lives together in wonderful bliss. nobody told me that we'd get married in california, then live in wyoming for the next two years away from both of our "homes" we created a home of our own, not a permanent one, and not one that always feels inviting, but nevertheless, it was a great beginning for us and it was good enough for us (most of the time) we've got each other and we know that our love is everlasting. it's real. and it's a fairy tale too... now the fairy tale can end happily ever after now that we're home again in beautiful sunny california! we're home again and starting our new lives in our big extended family and our new jobs that we're seeking! and this is... the story of my life.
