Many claim to be Indiana's premier DJ, which is understandable in a city powered by hype. But one glance at dj Orions's impressive list of past and present club residencies will quickly put all debate to rest.
Of course there are other hot spots in Indiana's vast nightlife sprawl, but guess what? dj Orion has been the resident there, too. Needless to say, no new club opens there without a firm offer to one of Indiana's official Go-To DJ's.
And his reputation as such, compounded with the guaranteed delivery of a mind-blowing, multi-genre performance, has secured dj Orion his daily radio play on 100.9 Radio NOW(monday-saturday), as well as stops at various monthly club residencies. His services have been garnered as an opening act from the likes of Chris Brown, Collective Soul, Boys Like Girls, Good Charlotte, Simple Plan, Black Eyed Peas, Kelly Clarkon, Liz Phair, Paula Deanda, and Hillary Duff to name a few. He has become a favorite of the coorporate world who lead their respective industries, such as Indianapolis 500 and Formula One (Coca Cola Stage) and don't forget the 2007 NASCAR Allstate 400. And his nightly escapades have been documented in publications like NUVO, and Indianapolis Star.
Since 1986, dj Orion has developed a style of mixing and matching songs from varying directions, from hip hop to rock to house to funk, creating a potpourri of related sounds, disregarding genre. And the fickle tastes of the nightlife industry has finally caught up with him.
