About Me

THE AUSTIN STORY: November 13, 1982 I was born at a small hospital in upstate New York. At a young age I realized I wanted to do something where I could entertain people and make them laugh. I always listened to the radio at home and would pretend I was a disc jockey.
When opportunity came knocking at the age of 16 I took the bull by the horns!! My high school was offering an internship program at Syracuse University’s student run radio station Z-89. It was there that I learned everything from how to be an on-air talent to filing papers. I knew I was ready for the masses and became a professional DJ. That being said I was able to score a great position at Hot 107.9 in Syracuse and learn from the people I idolized. I eventually worked my way up to the weekend and fill-in jock.
From that point on, the rest is history, with me making stops along the way in Pittsburgh, Buffalo and most recently 95-5 The Beat in Atlanta. The next chapter in my story will be to take my innovative style of hosting, interviewing and entertaining to television.

Show Summary: Wild & Crazy Kids was simply that: wild and crazy kids. It features teams of kids who would perform picnic like games in order to win for their team assigned by color. Usually, there would be Blue, Red, Yellow, and Pink. The hosts of the game were Omar Gooding, Don Jeffcoat (known as Donnie Jeffcoat), and Annette Chavez. Chavez was later replaced by Jessica Gaynes. This show was awesomely fun to watch! Especially when they would go to water or theme parks!
