"It is horrifying that we have to fight our own government to save the environment."
"I have often thought that if photography were difficult in the true sense of the term -- meaning that the creation of a simple photograph would entail as much time and effort as the production of a good watercolor or etching -- there would be a vast improvement in total output. The sheer ease with which we can produce a superficial image often leads to creative disaster."
"When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence."
"There is nothing worse than a sharp image of a fuzzy concept"
Ansel Adams
"Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves."
"The creation of something new is not accomplished by the intellect but by the play instinct acting from inner necessity. The creative mind plays with the objects it loves."
Carl Jung
"Not only is the universe stranger than we imagine, it is stranger than we can imagine."
"Something unknown is doing we don't know what."
Sir Arthur Eddington (1882 - 1944)
"Peace is not a relationship of nations. It is a condition of mind brought about by a serenity of soul. Peace is not merely the absence of war. It is also a state of mind. Lasting peace can come only to peaceful people."
"The only alternative to coexistence is codestruction."
Jawaharlal Nehru (1889 - 1964)
"Idealism is what precedes experience; cynicism is what follows."
"Maybe this world is another planet's hell."
"Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored."(Proper Studies, 1927)
"The mind is its own place, and the Places inhabited by the insane and the exceptionally gifted are so different from the places where ordinary men and women live, that there is little or no common ground of memory to serve as a basis for understanding or fellow feeling. Words are uttered, but fail to enlighten. The things and events to which the symbols refer belong to mutually exclusive realms of experience." (Doors of Perception)
Aldous Huxley

Basically a lot of sludge, doom, "post-rock", light indie, crust punk, acid jazz, stoner rock, non-elevator jazz, ambient, psychedelic, atmosphere, mississippi blues, classic rock, soundscape, dirge, metal stuff. Whatever I'm in the mood for. If I left anything off, I probably have them as a friend here on myspace, so yeah, check it out or whatever, it's some good stuff.

I LOVE spoofs and b horror flicks, as is evident by the above listed movies...I HATE 20-something comedies about retail work, or the "hard times" we 20-somethings go through with all this bothersome technology and convenience that we have at our finger tips which we love to squander away while we make weed and fart jokes instead. I also hate pseudo-intellecto-psych-out quasi indie films. They are boring and have no purpose other than to cater to a generation lost in themselves and their own egos.
