Your loved one may be a child who has run away from home, a spouse who has abandoned you for the "greener grass", or a friend or family member who has walked away from God. When we have a prodigal in our lives, it is our duty to pray for them until they return. Your loved one is being decieved by the enemy (the prince of darkness). This page is for prayers, encouragement and testimonies. Your stand for your prodigal will not be easy and many people will tell you to move on and find happiness. My question to you is ... what condition will your prodigal be in if you, the one who loves them the most, gives up on them? DON'T GIVE UP! Stand for that person that you love. They may not seem too lovable right now but the way they are behaving IS NOT WHO THEY TRULY ARE! The devil is lying to them. God wants to restore your prodigal and turn them towards home. Will you be there to love them unconditionally no matter what the cost? After all ... that is how God loves you.
IF YOU ARE THE PRODIGAL ... GO HOME! Turn around and walk away from the life that Satan has tempted you with. It is a counterfit. The life you are living leads only to destruction. Your family misses you. And yes, there will be work to do when you return. There will be broken hearts that you must help mend and broken trust that you must help restore. But God can do this for you! God forgives you and casts your sin as far as the East is from the West. Go home to your family. It is there you are loved. It is there you belong. It is there that God placed you. That tug on your heart is telling you where you will find peace.Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish the arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.—Ephesians 6: 13-18
