Okay, so now I'm 40! I had no problem with turning 40, then I woke up and I WAS 40. Then it became a problem. Like most of us 40-year-olds, I woke up and said to myself, "Where the hell did the time go?????" And as I looked back, I realized how fortunate I've been and what a fulfilling life I've had SO FAR!!! I've eaten the midnight buffet with Taj Mahal on a window ledge in the Caribbean, I've been lobster diving in the Keys,I've been to over 200 concerts, and Daytona for the "infamous" bike week. I've met so many "famous" people, mostly musicians, that I can't remember them all. I've flown to New Orleans just to see a football game.Brian Johnson from AC/DC sang to me on my birthday!! (With GBB) I was in the stands when Wade Boggs retired after his 3000th hit. I've been on a Harley doing 100mph into the Florida sunset and... I was there when the cops pulled us over for doing it. Whoops!I've rubbed elbows with millionaires and homeless people on the same day! Life is not about the money.We need to spend less time making the dollars and spend more time with someone who needs us. Tell your family and friends that you love them every chance you get, they could be gone in an instant!The most important thing that I can say about the first 40 years of my life is that I have very few regrets! (And...I've never seen a jail cell! Phew!) The people, places & things of my past didn't make it to my future for a reason, but that does not mean I will forget them. I've somehow managed to end up in life surrounded by a multitude of family and friends, many of whom I would die for, and vice versa. Some of these people, I've known for 20,30 years or more and I am so grateful to still have them in my life today! Some of them, I have just recently had the pleasure of finding in this lifetime and I look forward to a great friendship over the next 40 years!My husband Mark is one of the most amazing people that I've ever met. We knew immediately that we were meant to share the rest of our lives together. Words cannot express what he means to me. So, I'll just say that I'm the luckiest woman alive! Never say never, life will surprise you when you aren't looking!So to all my friends and family, near and far... I thank God for you everyday and I love you! And to the people in my life who are no longer on this earth, May you dance with angels!
