About Me
Roberto Pomili began studying with Massimo Giorgi, and he graduated from the Conservatory of "Ottorino Respighi" in Latina (Rome).The Academy of Music in Pescara awarded him a Diploma (after studying with Dorin Marc) during four years he attends to orchestral formation "Fedele Fenaroli" courses in Lanciano. Since still student 1995 he has firmly collaborated to the "Marchigiana Philarmonic Orchestra" and as Principal bass with The Chamber Orchestra of Bologna, The Italian International Orchestra, Maderna Orchestra, i Solisti Aquilani, Macao Orchestra.He performed in some of the most prestigious National and International festivals:

- Festival Strauss, Garmish Partenchirchen (Germany)
- Festival Snow & Song. St.Moritz (Switzerland)
- Macerata Opera Arena Sferisterio (Italy)
- Festival of Two Worlds, Spoleto (Italy)
- Festival Erreweghe Gent (Belgium)
- Macao International Music Festival (China)
- Festival della Valle d'Itria Martina Franca
- Beijing Music Festival (China)
- Bangkok Music and Dance Festival (Thailand)By playing abroad and in Italy in the most important Concert Halls such as:
Basel, Munich, Cologne, Berlin, Paris, Liege, Bruxelles, Antwerpen, Eindhoven, Utrecht, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Madrid, Bangkok, Shanghai, Hong Kong , Macao, Seoul, Bombay, New Delhi.He collaborated also with famous musicians:
Luciano Pavarotti ,Andrea Bocelli, Jose Carreras, Barbara Hendricks, Roby Lakatos.In the 2001 he started to work with the "Nederlands Promenade Orkest" in Amsterdam, and with the "Brabants Orkest" in Eindhoven. He recorded for the House Discography "Arte Nova Classic" ,"Dynamic" "Talent"and also he performed for the Dutch Television in Amsterdam. At this moment he plays at the "Royal Philarmonic Orchestra of Vlaanderen" in Antwerpen, touring the Benelux.
