hmmm, let's see...step into liquid, dogtown and z boys, american beauty, lost in translation, the best of will farrell, dazed and confused, almost famous, the princess bride, boogie nights, mean girls, trainspotting, goonies, bring it on, the good girl, friday, coming to america, blow, heathers (lick it up, baby. lick. it. up.), the royal tenenbaums, pulp fiction, matrix (the first one), scratch, and all the best in 80's high school movies...
ok. i admit it. i'm a sucker for reality tv. but it does help that i worked in the biz long enough to know the tricks they pull in order to get good tv. right now we're watching: american idol, i love new york. scripted shows include: lost (LOVE IT), grey's anatomy. old faves are six feet under, sex and the city, america's funniest home videos, behind the music. some good channels: discovery, court tv, biography channel, history channel. it's all so fascinating. i wish they had a psychic/ghosts/hauntings/ufo's kind of channel, other than the few shows on sci-fi...!
the secret language of relationships, conversations with god (i am in no way a religious person...but this book really makes ya think), a million little pieces (BEFORE the whole oprah scandal), any of the sylvia browne books...does perez hilton count?
