I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm a Christian musician. Born and raised in Montreal, QC, but currently living in Pompano Beach, FL. My husband is the greatest gift God has given to me, as well as my close friends and family.

Currently playing 'The Dawn' by Anúna

My Interests

Music, music and more music... I sing, play the flute, guitar, piano, bass and various whistles. I'd love to play the harp but they're so darn expensive. I used to play the flute & piccolo in various musicals and operettas and was in the worship team (vocals & flute) at my former church in Montreal. I am currently in the worship team (again, vocals & flute) at my church, Calvary Chapel West and I'm in a renaissance duo with my friend Damien. I recorded backup vocals for LifeWithoutShame's CD "A Love of Life". I sang and played my guitar at my younger brother's wedding in July. I recorded flute and whistle for my friend Ray's solo CD. I'm looking for more gigs...

I'd like to meet:

I guess the musicians I would really like to meet are Jeff Buckley and Nick Drake, but they're deceased (RIP) - so I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon...

I'd love to meet JW Waterhouse. He's my favourite artist. But of course, he's long since been deceased *sigh*

I'd love to see Anúna again - I had a wonderful time in Jacksonville, when I spent the entire weekend of March 11-13th (2005) hanging out with them.
Meeting any of the other bands featured on the "Music" section of my page would be pretty cool as well...

The last day of a decade

Today is the last day of my 20's... Tomorrow I will reach a new decade.  Some women dread the coming of the big 3-0... I'm not.  I'm actually excited.  They say that 30 is the new 20.&n...

When it rains (addendum)

Well Giles has been released from the hospital already.  They checked his vitals, shrugged, and said "Well he's not going to die," so they sent him home without any further testing.  Nice.&n...
