home of the beast
clint (as a band) got together in 1998. what had started as a fun project in 1995 has become one of the most serious bands that can be found in this degree of popularity. clint's music is honest and real. the band shows that honest and real are not nice ways of saying crappy and unprofessional. clint know how melodies double up with anger fueled energy to form a kick ass song that will get stuck in your head while moving your feet. the trio is completely into diy. before they recorded their first full lenght cd "to live in guilt" (2004), they did two demo-recordings that way: the götz-hornbruch-ep (1999) + far from perfect close to genius (2001) are signs of a very positive development that still stays true to punk/hc and finds its climax in the songwriting and the performance on "to live in guilt", which they recorded in september 2004 at the jangland studios in hannover. clint have been through a lot of gigs. they played in front of the weakest crowd but also supported the mad caddies, union 13 or down by law, the us bombs(all usa),sommerset(nz) and anti-flag(usa). after putting out the record on their label callahan records, they managed to keep everything about clint completely diy! after all this, neither the small clubs nor the bigger stages are safe from this punk threesome! the clintagon is coming after you...
