..NEW ALBUM "PARDON ME, SIR!" OUT NOW!!!
About the band...Stylistically The Kleins are along the lines of Punk and street RocknRoll. Frequent comparisons: Peepshows, The Bones, Turbonegro, Social Distortion, Supersuckers, Dead Kennedys and the Sex Pistols,they..re not troubled by current trends. They just want to live their love of punk influenced RnR with a high singalong factor and lots of fun. In short: they want to celebrate authentic punked up RocknRoll and sweep listeners off their feet! Daniels Guitar is right up front, Keiths tight drumming keeps it all together and Haui Milautzki kicks ass on Bass. The (audibly) angry lyrics of british Lead-Singer Mark are a mixture of sarcastic (self) observation, social critisism and political activism.
Being incredibly energetic live on stage (references to the Dead Kennedys have been made!), The Kleins offer high-grade Kick-Ass-RocknRoll-Punk. In the middle of everything, amongst the drive of the instrumental fraction, frontman and charismatic lead-singer Mark takes things to the edge to sweep everyone of their feet! To cool things down a little, they also play a couple of mid-tempo songs and the odd ballad, before moving back in with the raw, nuclear powered guitar sound to get the audience moving again. From the very first chord struck, there is no doubt as to what we seek to achieve: The Kleins want to see their audience sweat! From the opener to the very last song, they offer everything that charges the air with static and gets things rocking!
Whether live or on record: The Kleins can be recommended to all lovers of honest RocknRoll! They are compulsory for anyone who likes handmade rock music with melody and good lyrics. It should also be mentioned, that one of the bands ideals is not to suck up to the uniformity of trendiness. As feedback from listeners and audiences has shown, they apparently have a high entertainment factor and the sound doesnt wear off with repeated hearing. On the contrary!
In spring 2007 they recorded their current album "Pardon Me, Sir!" in the Blubox Studio/Troisdorf, produced by Guido Lucas, which was released in autumn 2007. The album shows that The Kleins are on top of their musical activities and kicks asses! It also appeared in a vinyl-version with a retractable cover, in 180gr quality and with the bonus-track "Die For Your Country".
