Matt, that whirling fireball

I don't even know where the fuck a headline goes.

About Me

I was born at a very young age, in Liverpool, England. I moved when I was 5 to Nottingham.
I'm very into writing and music, I write for a couple of zines (the most prominent being scenepointblank . I play guitar in a band and do a lot of solo recording too just for shits and giggles.
I'm in the process of finishing off a 50,000 word novel (late) for NaNoWriMo which is about as pretentious as you can get. I love the punk/hardcore scene and wanna start a hardcore band but nobody else will :(
I also do a lot of photography . check it out.
Finally, i'm bitter because i'm a Cambridge (university) reject.
UPDATE!: I'm now an (English) student at Leeds University. Rock!
Further to the above, I'm now actively seeking a new band, not that anything has changed with my current band (see above), but with me being in Leeds, and them being in Nottingham, I need something to occupy myself with, otherwise I'll go crazy.
The "whirling fireball" thing? It's kind of an in-joke, if you're curious, check out my band 's page; the biography there should explain things. Note the heavy (ab)use of sarcasm and irony; two of my favourite humour devices.

IMPORTANT SHIT!

If you're gonna add me and we don't know each other, send me a message or something first just to say hey. It's always weird to get added by total strangers, and if your username is something like xxxbabygothprincessxxx, or you're a band, chances are you'll be DENIED.
ATTN: MEGAN!!!

(note: even if your name is Megan, this probably doesn't mean you)
Okay, so I forgot to save your email address and it seems you DELETED YOUR PROFILE so I can't send you the message I have just painstakingly typed. If by some chance you see this, mail me or something ([email protected]) [minus the NOSPAM, duh] so that I didn't just completely waste the past hour. Thankyou.

My Interests

Photography, Writing, Reading, Drawing, Music, Guitars, History, Computers, the Internet, Home Recording, Web Design.

I'm also slowly becoming drawn into Liberal/Socialist politics. I've always found myself taking a left-leaning stance on most issues, and since starting University I've gotten involved with a few groups that talk more about these issues. It's always refreshing to speak to people who have views on current events and such, and don't make redundant blanket statements a lá "George Bush/Tony Blair (delete as appropriate) is a [insert your choice of expletive here]".

I'd like to meet:

Musicians, writers, photographers, creative people, people with a sense of humour, people who enjoy the fine art of conversing.

The concept of a "top 8" is hilariously teenage, so here's someone you could probably learn something from.

There's currently somewhere around 160 people on my friends list, but then the internet has never been a substitute for flesh-and-blood.

My Blog

"stream of consciousness" is a pretentious concept.

It's two (in the a.m) and I'm the only one in here still awake. Mogwai are seeping through my headphones and I have the volume up loud so the music is being injected right into my ears, directly. I a...
