The Who? I LOVE BANDS!
Rabbit Proof Fence, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Ed Wood, Full Metal Jacket, A Clockwork Orange, Amelie, High Fidelity, Zoolander, Wayne's World, Pulp Fiction, Jurassic Park [1 & 3, 2 sucked.], Twenty-four Hour Party People, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, The Proposition, Reservoir Dogs, Fargo, Grosse Point Blank, Secretary, Being John Malkovich, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Ed Wood / Bella Lugosi movies and other schlock horror movies.
Go and see Downfall. It's a German film about the last days of WW2 in Hitler's bunker. There are no words in the English language that could fully describe the brilliance of this movie. There may be some in Klingon, but none in English.
I watch alot of documentaries and history programmes.
Some good documentaries I've seen lately include a show on the life and music of Nick Cave, a really interesting programme on Ohio prisoners with mental health problems, one on the classification of pornographic material in Canada, a documentary that tracked down former stars and staff who worked on Debbie does Dallas and 'Pornography: The Musical'.
Some good history programmes I've watched lately include - 'The Real Da Vinci Code,' 'Battlefield Britain' and an interesting programme on the last days of Roman antiquity before its 'fall' in 476 AD.
I also enjoy The Simpsons, Futurama, Family Guy, House, Scrubs, Black Books, Spicks and Specks and Oz.
To Kill a Mockingbird, Of Mice and Men, Roald Dahl short stories, The Picture of Dorian Gray, most of Bukowski's writings, East of Eden.
The last thing I need is a hero to be disappointed in...
