I love laughing, making fun of myself and being generally silly and sarcastic all the time. I'm easy going, easy to talk to! Also, I hug people way to much. No I'm not hitting on you. I just like to hug people. Life needs more hugs. My interests are DJ'ing, as in mixing electronic dance music tracks together haha, photography and just being me. I am a hyper-active weird person for the most part. I change my "look" a lot. So you never know from one day to the next if I'm going to appear as a business women, a emo/goth kid, a raver, a preppy or a bum hitting you up for a dollar. :D Girlie, but not. I am more dude in attitude I've been told. I blame that on growing up around an older brother.MY MIXES!!!MANIC!

DJ BIO:Mi'ka (pronounced Meeka): I began playing in the fall of 2005. When I began, I started out on vinyl playing more progressive trance. However, as I gained skills I decided that I much preferred the harder side of things and began playing hard trance. In 2006, I made the leap to the digital world trading in turntables for CDJ's. This has allowed me to be a little more versatile with my selection and now I don't have to wait for the mail! WOOHOO!:D I have played at various outdoor and club events throughout the Portland and surrounding area including, Pala, Viper Room, Pi-Rem, Fez, Barrauda, The Locker Room, Walrus and Soak. Most recently I held residency @ Fusion Lounge, Groove Nation. Currently I focus on two styles of EDM: Minimal tech house and hard trance. Depending on the night you can expect beautiful minimal tech house or stompy hard trance that can border on hardstyle. Mi'ka will tell you, this is her Ying and Yang of musical genres.
