About Me

Hip-Hop Congress is a grassroots organization with chapters on campuses and in communities across the world. As the local New Mexico chapter we promote Hip-Hop culture and all of its elements in a positive and peaceful way. We are committed to bringing the beauty and diversity of Hip-Hop culture to the UNM campus and the greater New Mexico community. We encourage Hip-Hop to be used as an educational tool and a vehicle for social change and greater civic involvement. We help artists by providing an international web of resources and contacts for members. We will be throwing events, teaching workshops and involving the local arts community on and off campus to promote creative forms of self-expression using all the elements of Hip-Hop. Stay tuned!

My Interests

Creating Hip-Hop in all of its forms and spreading the culture. Empowering people, civic involvement, community development, social change, holding down the elements, knowledge.
