What if there were no limits...no boundaries to reality?

About Me

I'm the author of Stolen Lives, a Christian suspense/thriller from River Oak Publishing. You can find out more about the book here . I love talking to readers and other writers, so feel free to say hey when you have the time!

I like music, though the chances of you knowing any of my favorite bands are slim and none (but if you do, that just shows you have good taste in music). I love talking to folks and don't mind being challenged about an idea, as long as the person I'm talking can admit it if they're wrong. I can't stand people who think they're never wrong about anything. I lead worship with the youth ministry at my church and love to be around musicians and creative people of all kinds.
I won't judge you for who you were because I've had that and can't stand it. You have the benefit of the doubt as far as I'm concerned. I treasure friendship and don't take secrets for granted.
I'd rather have one romantic evening with a candlelight dinner and slow-dancing under the stars than the best season tickets to any sporting event (major or minor league).I get the most joy out of working with teenagers who love God and aren't afraid to use their talents for Him. The coolest part is knowing that when they get famous, I can say "Hey, I used to play in the church worship band with them!" Of course, they'll probably ignore me as I'm screaming and waving during their big concert, but they'll get over it.My Yahoo IM handle is brianreaves. Feel free to say hey from time to time.

My Interests

Reading a good book, sitting by the fireplace and enjoying the moment, writing, playing the guitar or piano, deep conversation with someone who fascinates me, classic movies, romantic moments, and rainy mornings.

I'd like to meet:

Ray Bradbury, Michael Pritzl, Jesus (and I'm guaranteed to meet at least one of them someday)

Music:

U2, King's X (early years), The Violet Burning, The Choir, Vineyard cds, Hillsongs United, Delirious, Coldplay, David Crowder Band, Forever Changed, The 77s, The Myriad, The Prayer Chain

Movies:

It's A Wonderful Life, Christmas Vacation, Die Hard, any Jerry Lewis film, North by Northwest, Rear Window, Somewhere In Time (I'm a hopeless romantic)

Television:

Lost, Miami Vice, Frasier, Smallville, Night Court, and of course, the Twilight Zone.

Books:

The Bible, The Face by Dean Koontz, Plot and Structure by James Scott Bell, Cain by James Byron Huggins
Stolen Lives ..
Portal: The Timeslip Trilogy: Book I ..

Heroes:

My number one hero is my son, Khristian. He's never let anything hold him back...not cruel words from "friends", or hard times, or difficulties that might hinder lesser men. Through everything he continues to shine and rise to the top, showing character, boundless creativity, talent, and a determination to give everything to God.
From the Bible: Joseph, Gideon, Joshua, David, and the ultimate hero: Jesus
