Well, let me start by saying that I always wanted to be Morgan in Morgan Stewart's Coming Home because I love gore and horror as much as he did. I seriously used to ask my mom to order the severed limbs and heads in fangoria for my birthday and such...to no avail, of course. That still stands as a fantasy for me.
SLITHER is one of my faves. That movie is fucking amazing! It is a new classic without a doubt; just perfect.However, vaudeville also has a solid place in my heart.
And Groucho Marx is a hero of mine.

i am reading some bukowski stories and poems and a ton of art mags and little children as well as a new book i picked up called body of work, which is delicious. my list is ten miles long. i have-literally-hundreds of books that i have read halfway through. i get distracted by new books and the pile just stacks up. i really like updike thanks to a few short stories. i am looking forward to buying some of his actual books. i am a fan of the likes of dostoyevsky, nabokov, burgess, sedaris, and...
oh god i am too tired to make a books list right now. it will have to wait.

Heroes:
good moms everywhere. my sister. my gramma. my gramps. my rediculously awesome friends. people who posses all of the wonderful qualities that allude me. like full-blown tenacity and the ability to maintain a longstanding record of prompt bill payment. my rent's always late. they just know to expect it a week later. so, i guess...technically...it's right on time.
