About Me

Artists, musicians, performers and entertainers are by their very nature for lack of a better term, somewhat "narcissistic" . The desire to be loved and appreciated is great, but probably not very healthy. It seems that most of the art and music that moves me, was created not by the most self-assured or happy people, yet through their work, the gift they give is the assurance that you are not alone in the world. This can be more powerful medicine than anything the pharmacutical companies have ever produced.Given the current state of the entertainment industry, particuliarly the music industry, I believe that some of the best music & art is being marginalized or flat-out ignored, because it is not easily categorized, or so-called "current" and therefore easy to sell to the masses. I cannot imagine life without some of the influences I have mentioned who might have had a difficult time getting seen or heard in todays enviornment.Sites like myspace.com are providing artists with an invaluable tool for getting their creations and thoughts out in the world.I hope you like what you hear, and thanks for stopping by.
