About Me

Motel Jesus new CD HALLELUJAH HIGHWAY AVAILABLE HERE: Help Tex and TL take the Gospel to the peeps!"Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.' The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit." (John 3:7,8)Starting over always feels good, but to get a new lease on life is the greatest gift of all. So it went for Glen & Tammy Lynn on Mother's Day 2001, when in a miraculous moment they found themselves at a church in the South Bronx, raising their hands and receiving Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. Something that seemed so inconceivable the day before became a life long reality in the blink of an eye.Tammy Lynn (now Tammy Lynn Trinity) served as the brain child, front person, and lead guitar player of the NYC luv punk trio Battershell. Her multi-layered melodies quickly became a staple of the Lower East Side's thriving underground music scene as well as all over the world.Battershell released 3 records, which were well received by critics and fans alike.Things were moving along at a furious clip until God let Tammy Lynn know that He had other plans for the "punk rock Mozart": to preach the Gospel through music and bring souls to Christ.Glen Hettrick (formerly "Tex" Hooker, now "Tex" Trinity) was the Jack Daniels fueled leather clad front man of the Lower East Side's ambassadors of 70's-style hard rock darlings Helldorado. Glen's explosive stage presence quickly put Helldorado on the path to super-stardom if only he could control his alcohol addiction and wild off-stage antics. He unfortunately could not, and was now on a path of certain destruction.BUT GOD................Long story short, Glen and Tammy Lynn were both saved in that South Bronx church and spared the death that awaited them. They were married August 11, 2001 in the shadows of one of the downtown clubs they once played and raised literal hell. The things God can do are limitless!..Don't store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be...
