The band (originally composed by Elena - lead vocal, Federico - guitar, Matteo (Matthew) - keyboard, Matteo - Bass, Omar - drums) don't waste time and performs the competition "Rock Senza Etichetta" and, in the meanwhile, they record the first demo including two songs written by Federico: Waitin' For You and The Power Of Dreams.
In 2005 the band takes part in two music knock-out competitions: "Emergenza Festival" and "Pagella Rock".
In the first they pass the regional final phase where Federico wins the prize "best guitarrist of the contest".
At "Pagella Rock", instead, they reach the semifinal phase, receiving regards for the songs and the musical arrangements anyway.
But at the beginning of 2005 new troubles fall over them, due to a short interest of the singer Elena.
Despite the climate a little "off", the Wanderfate run up a series of dates, including one of their most important exibition (even if the latest with Elena): the concert held on march 11th at piazza Castello in Torino at "Cioccolatò 2005".
But the band is now seeking a turning point: the formation fact grows with the arrival of Carlo (now busy with the "Hangin' Tree" from Orbassano), which becomes part of Wanderfate in the role of second guitarist. Unfortunately the experiment fails because he participates only two dates before leaving the band..
The last concert of Spring is the "Red Festival" of Cirié where the band perform with a four-members formation with the voices of Matthew and Federico: first trouble to solve now is to find a new voice for the group.
In June 2005 the Wanderfate decide to replace the actual singer hiring a new voice: Jessica.
So a new concerts season begin and in the meanwhile the band records a new demo ("Out Of The Sun") contains four new songs: For Jonathan, Lost From My Sight, Waitin' For You e Pleasant.
The 2007 starts for Wanderfate in the best possible way, because one of their songs, "For Jonathan", is selected by the record company Arci Sana Records of Milano to be placed in a box containing songs of young emerging bands from all over Italy.
And after three years activities, the Wanderfate record another demo ("Third") including three songs: So Little, So Slight, Ways Of Madness, e Weeping Willow. Songs that will take part in the coming concert lists.
In the early months of 2008, Wanderfate also access the final phase of theRock Targato Italia music contest and, thanks to the number of public votes, awarding a place of merit (then across the selections) to participate in the next edition.

Il gruppo dei Wanderfate nasce nel 2004 su iniziativa di Federico e Matteo.
La band (composta inizialmente da Elena alla voce, Federico alla chitarra, Matteo (Matthew) alla tastiera, Matteo al basso e Omar alla batteria) muove i primi passi sul palco esibendosi con concerti nelle Valli di Lanzo e partecipando alla settima edizione del concorso "Rock Senza Etichetta" e, nel frattempo, intraprende la registrazione della prima demo contenente due pezzi inediti scritti da Federico: "Waitin' For You" e "The Power Of Dreams".
In questo stesso periodo il repertorio dei Wanderfate si arricchisce di altri pezzi inediti scritti da Federico e da Elena, che il gruppo eseguirà nei locali dell'Hiroshima Mon Amour di Torino in occasione del concorso internazionale " Emergenza Festival", che frutterà alla band, ed in particolare a Fede, il premio come Miglior Chitarrista della Finale Regionale.
I Wanderfate partecipano anche al concorso "Pagella Rock", dove giungono in semifinale, ricevendo molti consensi dalle critiche degli organizzatori del concorso, che apprezzano i brani inediti e gli arrangiamenti.
Con l'avvento del 2005 però sorgono nuovi problemi, dovuti in particolar modo alla scarso affiatamento ed ai contrasti che vengono a crearsi con la cantante Elena. Nonostante il clima un po' "spento", i Wanderfate continuano a collezionare date, tra cui figura una delle loro esibizioni più importanti (anche se tra le ultime con Elena): il concerto tenuto l'11 marzo in piazza Castello a Torino in occasione di "Cioccolatò 2005". Il gruppo però è ormai in cerca di una svolta: la formazione infatti si amplia con l'arrivo di Carlo (ora alle prese con gli "Hangin Tree" di Orbassano), che entra a far parte dei Wanderfate nel ruolo di secondo chitarrista. Purtroppo l'esperimento non va a buon fine poiché Carlo partecipa soltanto a due date prima di lasciare la band.
L'ultimo concerto primaverile dei "Vagabondi del Destino" è in occasione del "Red Festival" di Cirié dove il gruppo si esibisce nella formazione a quattro con le voci di Matthew e Federico: il primo problema da risolvere ora è quello di trovare una nuova voce per il gruppo.
A giugno Federico assiste ai saggi di canto dell'istituto musicale "Cuneo" di Ciriè e nota Jessica la quale si dimostra subito intenzionata ad accettare la proposta di Fede di entrare a far parte dei Wanderfate. Ha inizio così una nuova stagione di concerti e nel frattempo il gruppo registra una nuova demo contenente quattro pezzi inediti: "For Jonathan", "Lost From My Sight", "Waitin' For You" e "Pleasant". La qualità di quest'ultima è nettamente migliore rispetto ai vecchi lavori della band, perciò il gruppo decide di produrne cento copie da distribuire a chiunque interessato. In gennaio 2006 il gruppo ricomincia la "scalata" di "Emergenza Festival" , cui accederà ancora alla finale, ma è nettamente più attirato dai concerti nei locali nei quali si esibisce durante il mese di maggio.
Il 2007 inizia per i Wanderfate nel migliore dei modi, poiché uno dei propri pezzi, "For Jonathan", viene selezionato dalla casa discografica Arci Sana Records di Milano per essere inserito in un cofanetto contenente brani di giovani band emergenti provenienti da tutta Italia. E dopo tre anni di attività , i Wanderfate registrano un'ulteriore demo contenente tre brani inediti: "So Little, So Slight","Ways Of Madness", e "Weeping Willow". Brani che faranno parte dei prossimi repertori.
Nei primi mesi del 2008, i Wanderfate accedono inoltre alla fase finale del concorso Rock Targato Italia, svoltosi nel locale torinese Il Magazzino di Gilgamesh, alla quale, grazie al numero di votazioni del pubblico, si aggiudicano un posto di merito (oltrepassando perciò le selezioni) per partecipare alla prossima edizione.
