Muzak 314 is Mike Upton, lyracist, songwriter, musician, producer. Mike writes and arranges his original music in his home studio (Muzak Productions) utilizing several different types of recording software digital and analog. Mike plays guitar, piano, drums and other related instruments along with vocals. Mike has been playing and singing music since the very early 80's with various Original bands including Night Lace -, Bozo - , Rizzo - JYNX - Size Matters - and now is concentrating on an acoustic duo called Mikey Mike and the Network with his long term friend - Mike Hunt. Mike has experienced many venues large and small and has enjoyed them all but really appreciates the smaller venue due to the interrelationship that can be created with the people who attend, MAGICAL! Currently Mike is working in conjunction with Paramount, Nashville as a song writer and is also producing independant music for several Indie labels to consider.
