About Me

Rising Up! is on a brief hiatus at the moment. We assure you, however, that this isn't one of those "closed for remodeling"-type situations you see at your neighborhood Chinese. We're simply taking some time off to travel about and gain some fresh inspirations. Rising Up! will return later this year, bigger and groovier than ever. So, from Jimmy and I, big ups to all those who've supported Rising Up! and made it what it is. We can't thank you all enough for your support. We'll catch up with all you beautiful cats and kittens later. So...dig the grooveline and to it!!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Local and non-local artists, performers, musicians, writers, and fashion designers looking to showcase their work. We seek the truly original, the under-exposed, and the under-appreciated to build a spirited coalition and to rise up together here in Denver. We are always open to your musical submissions, art submissions, performance ideas, etc. for upcoming shows. Newcomers strongly encouraged to submit. We're also looking for creative folks who enjoy the simple pleasures of just getting down and shaking their asses.
