My Interests

HOCKEY!!! Love the Avs, the Flames, and the Senators! I have a soft spot for goalies. Traveling - France is my country of choice, but there are lots of others I haven't been to...Scotland, anyone?MUSIC - I love going to see local bands like Judge Roughneck, Potcheen Folk Band, and King For A Day. They're way more fun than big commercial bands.

The ones that come up are Lord of the Rings, Saving Private Ryan, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Back to the Future, Trainspotting, and Casablanca. Are you scared yet?? How about Babel, The Departed, and (oh yeah...) Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle! Gotta love it...

Television:

LOST, Grey's Anatomy, and ER. The Office. That's about it. I REALLY love those prescription medication ads that purport to be the cure-all, then go on to list an interminable number of "side effects", some of which sound more intolerable than the affliction the drug is treating! Here's my personal fave:

Books:

HARRY POTTER!, Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy, Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami, Peace Like a River by Leif Enger, The Birth of Venus by Sarah Durant. Am I ever gonna read Bill Clinton's memoirs??

Heroes:

My mom! She's had 5 open heart surgeries throughout her life, but she's still tougher than me...Lance Armstrong - no one's tougher than him...JK Rowling - she created a whole new world from a bedtime story; kids love to read again because of her! Wow.
