Trick D,
Born: Rick Daniel Hallbeck in Princeton, MN.
Son of Carl "T" & Judi Hallbeck.
Trick got his first guitar when he was 13. The first song he learned was "Long Haired Country Boy." After his dad heard him playing that song he told him he was ready for his first gig. So he joined his dad's variety band and played every weekend until he was 16, when he was possessed by Heavy Metal. A few years later Trick heard James Taylor and that was the end of his "Metal Daze." He took some lessons from J.T. and started writing songs while playing bass in various variety and Progressive Rock bands with brother Rob. After finishing a technical degree, Trick said, "Say nice things about me, cause I'm gone southbound." Landing in Nashville, TN. with a Benjamen in his pocket and a van to live in, Trick was a stranger in a strange land. Stumbling upon a musical movement known as the "MuzikMafia" while playing bass at the Star Cafe in Whites Creek,Tn., Trick bonded well with the fresh styles of then unknown Artists; Chade Biggs and Damien Horne. Trick continues playing bass for and writing with EMI Artist Chade Biggs and one of MuzikMafia's most promising members, Damien"Mista D"Horne. Trick performs his original music as well.
