Love is all that matters.

About Me

I play with some of the finest, most talented dudes this side of the Mississippi. I make music for art's sake. I've played a ton of shows in Nashville, where I used to live. I did the whole country thing and opened up for Gretchen Wilson which was fun. My music evolves every time I evolve and now I would like to think my music sounds something like a mixture of Ani Difranco, Patty Griffin, Sharon Jones, Joni Mitchell, and Jewel. I write my own songs. I don't write for the radio. I play the guitar and have since I was 12. I love being from Arkansas, and the Delta area is where I grew up. I have a college degree that I will never use, but I'm glad I got it. I have an album for sale. I'm going to record some other albums, but it will be when I'm good and ready. My live shows are better than anything I've ever recorded. I like to play with my band, and I also like to play solo. I like to take breathers from music sometimes, especially right now. I am about to go to massage therapy school and I'm so excited about that.I stick with people who are real, spent a lot of time with people who aren't. Music is not easy and neither is the business. I've had to learn this the hard way, and I can lie and say that it's made me stronger, but truth is, I got burned out and scared to death. My music heart didn't get broken: it got shattered. And I've been hiding ever since. But, I think I'm just about to get over it. I'm also learning that music doesn't define who I am, that I am good at other things, and that life is too short to have only one passion. I found love through the blessing of my family, my hubby Dylan, and my good TRUE friends, Matt Stone, Lyndsay Pruett, and David B being the main ones to stick beside me musically and spritually. Playing with them is out of this world. The best thing about music is playing for other people. The worst thing about music is people trying to get you to sell out. I never sold out and I never will. I have a great job, a man who I was born to love, a family that I am grateful for, and a handful of friends who love me with or without my guitar. I guess you could say, I'm a lucky gal. Yeah, you could definetely say that. Stay tuned, and hopefully enjoy my songs. To be continued... This layout was handmade with love by the folks at My space or yours? Go get one!
