About Me

I first picked up sticks at the age of six. Then growing up I played for my church, and school bands. Four years in the Bartlett Highschool Drumline got my hands together. We used to play some pretty wild stuff. I also played for the pep band, which was the only opportunity offered to play drumset at my school. After highschool I went to Belmont University in Nashville pretty much only because Chester Thompson taught drum lessons there. I have half a music performance degree and half a journalism degree, which does not equal a whole degree. It should. Then I played with the Brakemen for about two years. After that, I played around Nashville with Himalayan and Jive Turkey. Then about three years ago, I moved to Little Rock to play with Adriane Allyn. I still play shows with her every now and then. After that, I played with the Joe pitts Band for about two years, and had the opportunity to tour in Europe three times. I am currently free-lancing here in Little Rock. I am available for lessons, sessions and gigs.
