It would seem like being born into a family of successful musicians would make it easier in this town(Nashville). However, the only thing that came easy for Jen was the natural talent. Jen (Stegall) Ketner was been doing what every other new young singer songwriter does in this town- getting by. Jen had been submerged in the business so long, she was afraid to admit at first it was what she really wanted to do- she had seen it hurt so many people, close hand- but the heart wants what the heart wants and Jen's heart wanted Nashville. She writes, she sings, she plays multiple instruments, she produces- she's busy!Jen is a poet and musican- Someone who finds the beauty in the dark as well of the light- A person who is addicted to heightened emotions, good or bad, and who chooses to put those emotions into an art form, a way to touch others- a song. The primary focus is not to be the loudest one screaming 'look at me', or even the "best"- but to be honest and true in expression and through that honesty reach someone else, and hopefully move them the way the original emotion moved into the form of a song."Sometimes i have a love/hate relationship with this town, but no matter what it gives me, i know beyond a shadow of a doubt that this is my home and that i belong here- i just have to figure out where..."knew where to start clip

I'll rattle a few off to you- my dear friends, if i forget you don't be offended, you know the nature of my memory- just tell me! Jill Kinsey, Keaton Allen, Joe Hardin, John Phillips, Adriane Allyn, Ward Boone, Bo Collier, Mitzi Dawn, Tiffany Goss, Tim and Trent Leclaire, Charley Steffl, Tom Botkins, Kevin Denney, these days I got hanging with me on Bass- the fabulous Coach, on Drums- the rock steady Jim Bonomo, on Percussion- the hot to trot Lucas Ketner, on bgv's Erin Stegall, and myself on guitar and keys, with Keith Stegall joining us on guitar as well!
